Resize Image to 100×100 Pixels

The 100×100 preset uses a centered crop to produce exactly 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. Upload JPG, PNG or WebP locally; use padding instead if every part of the original must remain visible.

Up to 10 still images, 50 MiB each. Input: at most 45 MP; output: at most 16 MP and 8192 px per side.

Fit preserves proportions and fits the whole image within the target box; output may be smaller than the target dimensions. Crop preserves proportions and center-crops to fill the exact target canvas. Pad preserves proportions and the whole image, adding padding to the exact target dimensions. Stretch does not preserve proportions and stretches to the target dimensions, which may distort the image. Small originals may be enlarged; this does not add detail.

JPG fills transparency with the selected color. Every result is re-encoded; metadata, animation and original color profiles are not preserved. Unsupported browser encoders report an error instead of changing formats.

A square avatar with a deliberate crop

At 100×100, choose a clear subject and avoid small text. The centered crop may cut off a face near an edge; prepare the framing in your source editor if its position matters.

    Check the result before uploading

Fit preserves the whole image but may produce fewer than 100 pixels on one side. Padding gives exactly 100×100 without removing edges; stretching changes proportions.

Example: turn a wide source into a small square

For an 800×400 source, center crop takes the central 400×400 region and scales it to 100×100. Padding instead places the full source at 100×50 with 25-pixel margins above and below. Fit outputs 100×50 without a square canvas.

    How to use this tool

    1. Select or drop static JPG, PNG or WebP images.
    2. Review width, height, sizing mode and output format, then resize the batch.
    3. Check every output’s pixels and byte count, then download individual files or a ZIP.

Image processing requires no file upload. Page assets and consented analytics can still make network requests.

    Frequently asked questions

Will the output have exact dimensions?

Crop, pad and stretch produce the exact requested pixels. Fit preserves proportions inside that box and may produce a smaller width or height.

    Can I preserve transparency?

Choose PNG or WebP and keep transparency enabled. JPG cannot store transparent pixels; it uses your selected background color.

What are the batch and safety limits?

Up to 10 static JPG, PNG or WebP files, processed one at a time. Each input is limited to 50 MiB and 45 megapixels; output is limited to 8,192 pixels per side and 16 megapixels. Retained outputs and ZIP output are capped at 100 MiB. Animation is not supported.
